Trident’s SB 2019 “keeping the faith”

Getting harder to source true Scotch Bonnets but the challenge continues. Each season I thank those that have helped me continue the quest to grow every variety and log their history. As with any variety there will always be favourites but I have tried to mix up this years grow and go back to those that sometimes do not get grown and those that are new to me especially the white bonnet

That lemon starrburst, scarlet rose and peach starrkist have my attention too, probably something for my next season - if I can get my hands on some seeds that is...
Google Khang Starr, he is on the Pepper Lover's Community
on Goggle + (until they take it down). The Lemon Starrburst
is his cross, and a stunning pod. I think seeds may be available
there.

Yes, and the PLC is moving over to MeWe after Google+ shuts down. After this coming season I'd be happy to send you seeds, as I will be collecting...

Okay, thanks for that, Erv.

I'd love to swap some seeds
at the end of the season.

I have neglected my glog over the past few months .... no excuses besides a poorly father at 99 and storm “Doris” dropped a neighbors tree across my fence and garden ... all sorted now and I am back in the game

At least it missed my treasured “Weber”

Hopefully the weather will improve the night temperatures are still too low to leave the plants out over night

Have a good weekend

Wow Dad is 99? Now that IS cool! I bet he has told some great stories and has seen sooo much change in his lifetime. Such a blessing. My Parents both hit 84 this June.

Nice work on the fence! And just how is life once one is retired? I for one can't wait :drooling:

Plants look great and I ready to see them in their final home. Dirt or containers? Your soil looks really good..

That’s a tough call on who stays or who goes. They all look good [emoji106]. I would have to do eenie, meenie , minie, moe to make the decision [emoji16].

Last season the summer weather was spot on but unless it improves I may struggle. To be honest there was not much of a difference between those that stayed in or were just placed around the garden.... a must to get the best housing this season will have to be the elusive White Bonnet of which I have four plants. Hopefully they will grow true

Apologies for my lack of updating but time appears to have stood still this season here in the UK. Plenty of growth but it’s nearly September and I need more colour in the garden. Last season I was weeks ahead but let’s hope the frost doesn’t coming too early and all works out well in the end ... time for some photos...
