Does anyone care to share a recipe for Chipotles in Adobo Sauce. I got my hands on 10lbs of dried Fresnos and jalapeños. Need to do something with them.

Or use a recipe by Rick Bayless.

As NECM is hinting at, if they are simply dried and not smoke-dried or smoked, you may need to toss them onto the smoker for 30 minutes to get the smoke flavor. Yes you can smoke dried peppers.

Did you try that or just google it? Looks like that recipe is to sell their seasoning. Links to their adobe. Don't need it!

It's a basic recipe:

I like a splash of toasted sesame oil in mine. It doesn't have to be the main oil as it's for flavor.

La Morena used to use sesame. Also they used to list the "spices". So here's the OLD label. ;) This was my fave before they changed it.

Lol they forgot the "o" in oregano. It looks simple enough. A friend at work has Rick Bayless recipe book. I'll get from him.

Thanks you
