hydroponic Fixing Dying Roots and Leaves with Kratky Hydroponics

Nice! I've just started to get into kratky these last few months. Always a learning experience. Thanks for the helpful videos. What kind of peppers were those? Also, I noticed that once it had recuperated and started putting on pods, a lot of the leaves were yellow on the edges. What would have caused that?

Thanks for commenting.  That variety was from Germany, a Rocoto Oculto Clef.  The yellowing on the leaf margins is more typical in small containers where nutrients are used or locked out and pH can shift.  The issue got corrected with a nutrient refresh.  With my large 44 gallon containers, the nutrient is more stable and does not need intervention.  With small containers, a nutrient change out when the plant starts looking bad can rectify a lot of issues.

That's good to know, thanks. I've got a few plants growing in small kratky containers indoors at the moment. The plan is to transfer them outside to food grade 55 gallon drums once the weather improves.
