Greetings from Denmark!

Hello to y'all!
I have been a frequent guest on thp for some years now, thanks to Nigel Carter and his Pepper reviews on YouTube :-D
Never made an account through - until now..

I was in to spicy foods already and one Day my mom bought me a bag full of Indian peppers. I had no idea what to do with them at that time, so I just left them in the fridge for a few weeks.
Then, all of a sudden I got the flu and had a nasty cough. No money in my pocket for meds, no Milk and no icecream in the fridge.. People were always talking about how healthy Hot peppers can be so I went with the prettiest one from the bag.
I was amazed how delicious that Pepper was. The flavour was outstanding - but then the train hit me.
I ran around in my apartment like I was some kind of maniac and just couldnt stop the nasty burn.
Few minutes later the heat Started fading away and the amazing taste was still there.

To cut the story short, that's when I got hooked on Hot peppers. And it really did away with the nasty cough I had. Ever since then I just eat a Hot pod whenever my throat is soar, and it works every single time :-D

Still, to this day, I have yet to discover exactly what kind of Pepper I ate. I saved some seeds from the ones I had at the time, but I just can't seem to germinate them and now there are only a few left.

Started out growing with just a couple of common seeds but Nigel got me hooked on several others, and suddenly my seed collection has gone way beyond what I could ever possibly grow.

Wall of text crits for a million.

Best regards,
Jannick

Welcome to THP! Interesting, I never considered just eating a pod for a cough. I might have to try that now. Interesting idea. Glad it worked for you :-)

Thank you :)
It was a combination of sore throat and a cough that drove me into the madness. It certainly clears up the throat problem quickly!

Hej og velkommen til. Jeg håber, at du bliver lige så glad for at være her som jeg er :P
:welcome: from Denmark
Mange tak :D Jeg er sikker på at det vil være det rette sted - for mig personligt- at fordybe mig i min hobby.
Det var jo egentlig THP der kickstartede min interesse i chili dyrkning, og det virker til, at man stadig tager det seriøst her :D

To be polite I will translate it roughly to English.

Im happy to be here.
I find this forum to be the right place for me personally to dig deeper into my hobbies. Our hobbies.
After all it was mainly THP that drove me into growing peppers and doing research of them.
My general opinion is that here I find people on a more serious level than elsewhere, and I really need that.
