Unknown Asian Market Pepper

Anybody have any idea what these are? My wife picked them up from the local Asian market. They were not labeled at all but the lady at the market said they were hot and sweet. I have yet to try them though.

They're Fresnos and yeah, good peppers.  Not very hot.  I bought one at QFC a month back and growing a couple seeds out now.

Plan to use it in sauces as it can be a
great base, but lots of uses.
Thanks for the help! I've heard of them but I've never tried them. I asked her to pick out some peppers for me, so I can make salsa. I've used up my meager harvest from last year so I needed store bought peppers. She got me some orange Habs and these Fresno's. Let's see how well the work in a salsa!

Mine are a bit hotter than Jalapenos.  We use them similarly.  Great variety.
yes, hotter than jalapeno. the year i grew them i also had jalapenos and Serrano among others and fresno heat was somewhere between jalapeno and serrano. i could eat the fresno fresh no problem while the serrano sometimes gave me the hiccups.  :fireball:
