Hardening off plants

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I was wondering if you can harden plants off too early? Its supposed to be in the 60s later in the week. I was thinking about putting out my young plants for 30 min and slowly building each day. To the point that if the temperature is nice start leaving them out all day after building them up instead of having them under lights. Come May I will be planting in raised beds and some containers.

Ive done a good job and all my plants look really good. Dont want to screw it up at this point. Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Yeah, also check the frost date in an online almanac https://www.almanac.com/gardening/frostdates

Good call.

Although, I find a lot of variation when looking up my area, anywhere from the end of April to the middle of May.

I always err on the side of caution and use the latest date. Planting Memorial Day weekend still gives me five months of growing until the first fall frost.

I started hardening my plants a couple days ago.  Should I stick to the incrementally increasing periods outdoors even if the plants don't quail?  Some don't seem bothered in the least bit.
