My First Growing Season

Hello!

I wanted to share my little grow station, i started 3/11/19. My buddy gave me some seeds. I have Lemon Habs marked with yellow label, white habs marked with white label, bhuts marked with red label, and chocolate habs marked with purple label. (As well as 2 avocado seeds and 2 little meyer lemon seedlings) Some have purple stems, some have darker pigmented cotyledons, some have purple viens on leaves. As you can see there are some singles and then some with a friend. I wanted to move approx. half outdoors to see what grows better with a friend or not. I have an 4-bulb HO agrobrite t5 system, each bulb giving 6500K and 5K Lumens. It sits approx. 2-3 inch above seedlings. Its on an 16/8 hr schedule.

Any suggestions on watering and fertilizing, distance lights should be from plants?

Any and all help is much appreciated:)

Hey cgiovannij.  Great setup and cool to see what you have happening.  I'd back those lights off a good 6" from where they are now.  Your sprouts are showing stress from them being so close.  If you post what you're using for soil people will be able to offer thoughts on nutrients.

:welcome: Cristian! Looks like a nice set-up for the seedlings.
 
For food, looks like those are ready for some 1/4-1/2 strength
fertilizer for a couple of waterings, then increase slowly to full
strength by the time the plants have 3 or more sets of leaves.
 
Keep soil moist, not wet. I like top watering in the size pots
you have. You can use your moisture meter (if that is what it
is by the convenience outlet) to check. I usually measure
about 2/3 deep in the pot, halfway between the stem and
the edge of the pot, just to be consistent.
 
Looks like the avocado seeds are starting to split! Good
luck growing those seedlings out, Cristian!

I then transplanted them into 4 inch plastic pots with kellogg soil:
