Does this sound too hot?

My 2 overwintered mini reds dont seem as green as they should be. I tried milder options. Ive be going easy on the nutrients but the plants have reached 2ft before being cut back. They have been getting some time on the deck when the weather is holding above 60F and thats when most of the yellowing seems to have started. Granted lots of it are older leaves too but i think they could look better.

Hard to find a straight answer to this on the web but its roughly 1-2 tbs of calcium nitrate seems to be a safe amount for soil drench. I made up a gallon with 1 tbs of 15.5-0-0 calcium nitrate.....Sound safe for a soil drench in a well established pot?

Kelp4Less says 1 part to 120 parts water. 1 tbs per gallon would be roughly 1 part to 240 parts water.
