Aji Fantasy Going Strong

Started this plant late last season with a seed I got from the pods CMJ sent me. Didn't get too many peppers last year, might get a few this year:

Thanks! I think the 5 gallon bucket might be holding it back, growth wise. I'm gonna get a 14 gallon barrel to put it in next week.

im sure it'll love the extra space esp later in the season as it grows.

ive never had those peppers but they sound interesting from what ive read.

I'm glad you got some of the seeds to germinate. By far my favorite pepper. Just a bit of advice if you want it: Try to come up with a good staking system to put in place when you transplant. The limbs are quite spindly, almost vine-like, and the heavy pods will pull them down pretty bad. Last year mine were on the ground. I have one of mine in a 55 gallon drum cut in half and the thing is getting massive. I put five stakes equal distance apart around the perimeter of the drum and wrapped twine around each one, circling the plant, just a little support as the plant grows outward. As it gets taller I will go up a foot or two and put another run of twine and so on as the season progresses. Great looking plant by the way!
