Pepper Morphologies - Seeing some Wierd stuff

I have several plants pumping out pods, but have noticed some variations between how pepper morphology is showing on one plant as compared to another of the same "supposed" variety.  I figure the simplest explanation is that I don't know the origin of the seeds I grew out, other than it was from a farmer's market, grocery store, or a plant picked up from a big box or hardware store.  So I would expect some variety after over-wintering, and growing those seeds.  The strange thin is, I have never seen a completely different pepper come out on a plant with all different pods.  Case in point, here is something that looks like a datil, on a red, pumpkin-shaped habanero plant.  Any suggestions?

Also noted are morphology differences in my Ghost peppers.  These are second-year plants overwintered, but the pods are very different.  some ore pointy and pimply, and on other plants are more smooth and blunt at the ending.  They are on separate sides of the house.

I have tried to "isolate" different varieties to avoid crosses, but then, you know what happened in Jurassic Park.

that yellow pod is very strange comparing to the others on the plant.  i have never grown them so i don`t know. hopefully someone else will chime in on these plants.

I've seen plenty of longer, attenuated pods form on a plant that usually pumps out short/ round pods. This seems to become more prevalent at the end of the season; I'm not sure if it's the cooler weather conditions that do it, or if the plant is just "tired" or otherwise predisposed to creating saggy phenos. I think it's the former, bc THP Member Trident Chilli claims that his cool growing conditions in the UK lead most of his Bonnets to be longer and more narrow than the norm.

But the very narrow, pointy, yellow pod growing on this plant that normally produces red-hued, pumpkin-shaped pods? Yeah, that's weird. No clue what's going on there.

This is the second pod off that plant that looks like that.  I may isolate them for seeds and grow them out to see what the plants looks like.  My productive season is just getting going, with warm/hot, wet weather.

I have a reaper plant that is putting out what looks to be 2 chocolate ghost looking pods. It previously attempted to put out an actual reaper shaped pod complete with the stinger, but it was eaten in half by a Caterpillar. (I found the smoking remains of the offender on the ground next to the plant.) Although I have not worried about keeping them separated, I have several ghost peppers, one reaper, one chocolate Bhutlah and one BT Scorpion.
