Greetings from California

Hi, my name is Geoffrey and I've got a capsaicin fixation.

I've grown a bunch of different varieties of peppers on and off for the last 12 years to varying degrees of (generally low) success. This year I've got my healthiest looking plants yet, but I'm growing in a small space, so there are only two of them: Fresno and Cayenne. (Literally could not find habaneros or anything of the sort in local nurseries.) I've never successfully germinated a plant from seed, but not for lack of trying.

I really enjoy making fermented hot sauces, which I usually make from store-bought Thai chilis and habaneros.

Very excited to join the forum. I'm specifically looking to improve my growing skills and my hot sauces. I'm interested in growing some superhot peppers (hopefully 7-pot and hotter) next year, so I want to learn to successfully grow from seed. Seems like this is a good place to be. Thanks for having me.
