Where to get seeds from their creators?

Carolina Reaper- from PrimosPeppers, jk haha, Puckerbutt Pepper Company
7 Pot Primo- PrimosPeppers

Khang Starr Lemon Starrburst- Get lucky and get them from him directly or from someone who has.

What are some other peppers that people have created and have a big name that you can buy directly? I was recently looking for Butch T. Scorpions, but the website for getting them directly is down.

Also looking for the source for some

Chocolate Bhutlah DM, SM, CS
Scotch Bonnet MOA. I couldn't find a link on the MOA website for the Bahamas.
Tabasco, I would like to have some from Avery Island if possible.

I'm sure there are other big name peppers that can be bought from the creators but I'm not sure.

I wasn't sure where to put this, but would like for it to be a discussion about all different types.

Moa is from Jamaican Ministry of Agriculture not the Bahamas

That would probably be why, do they sell on there? I see they give them to farmers who pay them back when they produce, but that is only for local farmers there.

Yes, I believe Butch Taylor closed his website some time ago.

You can still get original strain Butch T seeds from Neil and Charlotte Smith at the Hippy Seed Company.

Neil Smith did not create the pepper, but he is the one who named it, grew it out, and then submitted it to Guinness for the world record. Neil originally got the seeds from Butch Taylor, hence the name of the pepper.

You can buy seeds for the Carbonero, Carboruga, and other Tony Sherwood creations directly from Tony. Contact info is on his Facebook page (Pepper T Sherwood)

Steven McLaurin partnered with Puckerbutt, so they now distribute the seeds and pods for his Chocolate Bhutlah SM.

You can buy seeds for the various NuMex varieties directly from the Chile Pepper Institute, who developed them.

I did not know that about The Hippy Seed Company and Butch T. Scorpion, I actually did their new YouTube intro for them. Thanks for all the others info as well.

Kind of. Look for the Christopher Phillips collection on the puckerbutt website.

On the MOA:

"This bonnet was introduced to the United States by Steve954 from The Hot Pepper forum in early 2013. Steve954 says these seeds came directly from the Jamaican Ministry of Agriculture's Bodles Reseach Station in St. Catherine's Parish which he describes as "the Fort Knox of all Jamaican seed banks." He says they were not easy to get as the MOA does not even sell these seeds to Jamaican citizens - only a select few head farmers of Jamaica get the privilege....."

But if people can get the peppers, save seeds and isolate their plants... What's the point of being that way about who gets the seeds?

Aren't phenotypes pretty much locked in after F8 or F9?

Funny, I asked him the same question last sunday! Here's Tony's answer: "They have the same parents, just different results. Cream characteristics or more like the carbonaro orange cream I choose... the white is a different phenotype more like the Naga Jolokia heat flavor. Cream has better flavor both are hot! Just different results in looks"
