Fruitful Day

Check out this MOA I picked today!  Has that CARDI Scorpion look, stinger and all.

Also picked 5 more yellow morgue scorpions.  This plant has been very prolific.

Here is my first Aji Dulce 2 and my first Foodarama of the year.  I don't know why some are so late:

That's a rad lil harvest
Thanks. You helped get me get started in this and I am enjoying trying the different peppers I have growing. This year is a test to see which ones I like and will grow more of next year. (The yellow bonnets are keepers) Along with some more new ones of course!

Ripening has been slow for most of the varieties with only a few at a time. For example the tobasco plant is only giving up 1 ripe pepper per week so far. Homemade sauce is a ways off at this rate!

Anyways, thanks again.

You're quite welcome. I think you're off to a great start, for what it's worth.

I think it did.
Jajaja, as you know, I LOVE Zapotecs. Hands down, my favorite Jalapeños. There's a million other chiles I love. There's been very few I didn't like. . .

But, of I had to choose between Yella Bonnets and alllllll the others, I'd give up the Zapotecs, the Nagas, the Serranos, all of'm... But I could never give up those Bonnets.

But it looks like I'm gonna actually have to give up a lot of peppers, beyond the theoretical. My Community Garden is supposed to be bulldozed next year.

Yep NECM, I'm just messin' with the bikeman.  I think we all know how much he loves his yellow bonnets - plus he's actually the one who set me up with Zapotecs.

Dead on the nose, Tybo.  And solid early harvest above!  I'm just about to start coming into my own harvests soon here - this season's a solid month behind normal for me.  Can't wait to start making some sauces!

I know that well.  Hope you don't have to give up any of them. Crappy about them plowing over the plot. Hopefully you can find an alternative way to keep a grow with everything you need in it!
