I.D These "Reapers" please?

I'm very disappointed with this. I've known they weren't reapers for a while obviously... But here, take a look..

Some kind of Annuum, most likely? But wondering what kind. Maybe some kind of Indian chili, like a birds eye or something?

Either way, i wanted REAPERS. 5 plants I bought... all look the same.

Not sure why the pictures are sideways. Taken with Galaxy S8+.

I'm so upset. that much time wasted for stupid Thai peppers. lol. oh well. I can still make hot sauce though. Just really love reapers...
i`ve got some Thai growing this season. they are great for stir fry and many other dishes. i dry them whole and crush one into my plate to add some heat. my wife won`t eat anything spicy so i need to spice up my dish and these are great for that. i understand your disappointment though.

I mean, anything to add heat for sure. They will get eaten!
Next season, I'm going to contact some people on here and maybe work out a PayPal transaction for some seeds. If anyone has any, is be more than willing to pay for them :)

Looks like you got the same as this thread:

Shoot me a PM, I'd be happy to send some over for free.
I got a late start this season and no ripe pods yet, but should have plenty before next season.

I noticed that too Spork. Did you notice that both beavers and panXaXe are from Louisville, KY? I wonder how many others from that area  are disappointed this season?

I stand by original post, these peppers look like either Santaka or Rooster Spur

I didn't notice that, but those plants were unique and similar enough that I actually though it was the same plant the first time I saw it.
Not a fan of these seed sellers/nurseries/suppliers selling lies, gives us pepper people a bad name.

Edit to add:
Curious if the nursery sells reapers and Santaka and some kids swapped the labels. That would mean someone else is in for a very hot surprise.

I just find it unusual that two members here experienced the same issue on seven plants?
I bought reaper seeds from Amazon not long ago and got the exact same peppers as OP.  Not sure why this particular pepper is getting mixed up with Reapers but it seems to happen constantly from multiple sources.

Pretty tragic when you spend months on something that isn't even near what you wanted.
For me though, I just think "oh well, time to perfect a mean chilli sauce!" Lol. Not gonna waste those bad boys. Still SUPER disappointed though.
