I need pruning help!

Hi everyone,

I'm growing a Hungarian Wax and a Pablano.
Both are in 100% sun, and did well until the heat started getting into the hundreds.

I'm watering them every morning, and they are alive but suffering.

Should I prune back the leaves for the intensely hot weather?
Creating shade is unfortunately not an option.

This has been my first time getting peppers to actually fruit. I really don't want to lose these plants.
I'm just looking to help them survive through the intense heat, and then hope they start fruiting again.

Last bit of info. I'm in Southern California, in the Inland Empire. Temperatures can reach into the teens, although it looks like this year we are capping out in the low 100s.

1. temperature is your problem, shade is the best way to lower it, another is water sprinklers/misters (cool water + evaporative cooling)

2. pruning doesn't change temperature so no it doesn't really help

3. As long as you are giving the plant enough water it can handle itself (it will self prune)

i made this post on reddit to explain wilting https://redd.it/cdzsvo it should explain why the plant can take care of itself.

Edit:
I forgot to address this.........
