I have had my current 1000w HPS/MH system for 6 years now. (see below).
My current system accommodates my 110 sq ft room.
I am not keen on LED for a few reasons.
1 I find LED hard on the eyes and I spend a lot of time in the grow room.
2.The do not produce as much heat, a byproduct of the HPS systems I find very much needed.
3. I am not convinced I can get an equal exchange of wattage per $$.
I might consider a dual 650w system to get the same output potential I have now with the versatility of halving output at different time of the day.
I have heard good things about the newer dual end bulbs, but I am not anxious to pay for new technology pricing.
Looking for first hand recommendations.
