I converted a used 60-gallon pickle barrel into a large Kratky grower. The grow is still on going, but this shows the setup and current progress. I'm growing a Butch T Scorpion in it.
I have that exact same pickle barrel as the nute tank for my drip irrigation system. I had to neutralize it with over a kilo of baking soda when I first got it as the vinegar fumes were simply overwhelming.
