Greetings from the Banana Belt of Alaska!

I found the site while doing research into the use of power LEDs for indoor growing. While I've got a few 'pedestrian' species living in dirt, my serious plants have never seen the light of day, nor felt the warm earth! I've got a 'test lab' of sorts where I'm always testing out new aeroponics/hydroponics setups, as well as lighting alternatives. Sure would be nice to lower the electricity bill, and be able to regulate the temperature using other methods besides lighting!

If anyone's using Luxeon IIIs for light, I'd sure be interested in your setup!

heh, thanks-
While I haven't tried growing bananas yet, it's on the list, but that's going to have to wait on the greenhouse!

Welcome from Newcastle Australia mate.

There are a few people that are very active with lighting set ups...

use the 'search forum' function in the gardening/growing sub forum and you should get lots of info..

Start a new thread in the above mentioned sub forum if you want more info...

Sounds like we can learn a lot from you. I think your brain will be picked....:)
