Gloves

I just cannot resist; I do not use gloves to cut up Reapers, I use a knife!

Just kidding, and Welcome.

Actually, I never wear gloves, but I am very careful, and wash thoroughly afterwards.

I use 5 mil Industrial Grade Nitrile Gloves as do many others, Hot Pepper Safety.

I save up my grocery bags for the bathroom trash can, scooping the cat box and stuff like that...

So the other night I put two of them over my hands and diced up a couple of frozed pods with a steak knife. I licked my fingers after to check and there was no spice!

Also, I'd like to know what Alkhall washes his hands with. After dicing reapers barehanded, I've washed my hands 4-5 times with Dawn dishwashing liquid and the spice was still there. If you don't believe me, ask my balls.

Wheres a good site for buying seeds? I ordered some on amazon. They claimed were reapers . After months of nurturing the plants . Well this is what I got. I dont know what they are. I think some sort of a Thai.

Even nurseries were a part of this issue this year, read these and note pix:

I.D These "Reapers" please?
Reaper from a local nursery

In one of these threads someone else posted:

I bought reaper seeds from Amazon not long ago and got the exact same peppers as OP. Not sure why this particular pepper is getting mixed up with Reapers but it seems to happen constantly from multiple sources.

As far as a recommendation of reputable seed sellers, others will be along shortly that have experience with this....

91% isopropyl alcohol.

At least twice, changing cloth.
