I got TWO baglets of AAD from you, Frank, long pheno, short pheno. I neglected to isolate, so this season I get:

This plant is, believe it or not, being overwintered. For one thing it had to come in so I could get a couple ripe ones, for two I'm curious about how this will do as an adolescent next year. Hopefully our season won't suck so much next year, eh?

I looked and found a few seeds in both the phenos you sent two seasons ago. If anyone has a need, pm me. These peppers are absolutely worth growing!

Beautiful peppers !  And your absolutely right , these should be in everyones garden ! I planted 15 this year , the shitty weather all grow pampered their growth . Sad year :( .

These peppers are great for so many dishes its unreal and sweeeeet !  Glad their working out for ya pal !

If/when another exchange occurs between us....are you saving seeds from the pleated guys? I still have a spicy bell that's awesome...but you know how we are about phenos...lol

Yeah, got you covered. They were a later start and only an early small one has ripened so far, but the others should follow in short order - they'll go into the garage to finish under HID if necessary.  Will have some other cool stuff shortly too so will hit you up by PM.

Put them in the garden and they'll get huge !  Plants will get 4 ' high to .

I had one in the garden and one in a pot. Got 2 from each. I think somebody sprays 2,4-D constantly, or it's in my soil. The last 2-3 years have been garbage in-ground. Pots have been better. This plant started as an upside down topsy turvey deal. Turned it upright and luckily got 2. Lol

But a bigger pot for these next year. Lol

Yeah i planted 5 this year hoping for a bumper crop. Mostly for sweet heat powder. Well i screwed up somewhere along the line and planted 5 tekne dolmasi. Sweet but no heat at all.

I have 2 pods about to ripen, or I have dried seeds from earlier this season. I can send ya either or both! I have ripe pods (a box up for sale now) and I'm getting more...! Lol

Let me know if you wanna trade or something.

Big Brown Bhuts....BEAUTS!!!!

I got big nasty brown bhuts coming in daily. I think i got some air dried seeds already done and some i did in the dehydrator. i got some about to go in the dehydrator now and plenty more outside turning. I can set some off to the side to air dry on the window sill. Just cut in half.

All them pods were in the far corner of the yard 100ft away from all my other supers. I got some JPGS i grew out front. No other peppers in the front at all. Bunch ripe on that plant right now.

Yah Frank, I'll be puttin' in a large plot of the Aci Dolmas next year, along with the OW. OW's going in a 20 gallon bag next season, with "special" dirt...She only got a fiver this season, and was planted late (because of weather, of course), but the gnarly beasty done well. Too late started to pump them out, lost a potential bumper crop when Fall blew in, those not already plumped dropped like haycorns in a stiff Autumn gale...

I invented a fantastic stuffing made with ground pork, onion, basmati and parched wild rice, several molten cheeses and a glorious measure of GIP's smoked Serrano powder. Yessir, mix all ingredients to taste, add some chicken broth to keep it wet, fill those pods up and toss a glop of provolone or, if you have it, goat cheese....

These damned Aci Dolmas made themselves indispensable instantaneously....

I'm with you there, Frank! I think it IS the city, but I'm not sure if it's Anaheim, big Jim like Eric grows.....I found this:
Get seeds for the famous Hatch Green Chile, Poblano, Big Jim and other green and red chiles. These chiles are great in green chile stews, chile rellenos, salsas, hot sauces, and so much more. Looking for Hatch Green Chile seeds? You've come to the right place. Chile peppers are EASY to grow from seed!

These chile peppers range from mild to medium peppers and include: Anaheim, Poblano, NuMex Heritage Big Jim, Espanola Improved, Joe E. Parker, NuMex Heritage 6-4, Santa Fe Grande, Hatch Red, Hatch Green Hot, and Pasilla Bajio.

Still no tracking info or seeds from Fords. KInda urks me considering what he charges for them

I got a order confirmation so the email is correct.

BTW anyone heard from Bhuter. He has not been on since the 19th of last month.

Gotta say, I've had a tab open to antep aci dolma at Ford's since I first read this thread. Just haven't convinced myself to pull the trigger. Kinda glad I didn't now.

Reading this thread and checked Ford’s website.  Woo wee, that’s some pricey seeds.  Wouldn’t mind trying this pepper, but not at those prices.

I agree Linda, that's why I haven't ordered it yet. If I get froggy and buy it, I'll send you some seeds. Kinda leaning against it right now.
