Hi All,

I was cleaning up some dead leaves etc off the pepper plants last night and saw a very strange bug. I wish I had a picture of it, but it was long and narrow, black in color but when i tried to look at it the bug would move quickly around the stem  to the other side of the plant to hide from sight,  I've not seen a bug move erratically like this. Without a picture does this sound like something anyone is familiar with ?

Sorry for the image diagnosis, this is the first time I've seen this one this season.

Have a great weekend.

Squash bug? They like to play hide-n-seek.

Was it big or small?

If it was tiny, it was probably a thrip since those guys love to play hide and seek.
