Chocolate Chili cake

I'm always looking for good recipes with pepper in them so here's one I haven't tried yet that sounds so good!!!

Chocolate Chili Cake


Ingredients
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/3 cup hot water
5 1/3 ounces dark chocolate, melted
5 1/3 ounces butter, melted
1 1/3 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup ground almonds
4-5 teaspoons hot chili powder
4 eggs, seperated
Directions
1.Grease and line a cake tin.
2. Combine cocoa and water, stir until smooth.
3. Add all other ingredients, except the eggs.
4. Sir until combined.
5. Stir in egg yolks, one at a time.
6. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
7. Fold in chocolate mix in 2 batches.
8. Bake at 180C for 1 1/4 hours or until firm.
9. Cool in the pan

For those of us not familiar with metric measurements I am thinking a 9x13x2 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees.
 
Sounds good! The only thing I would add is roast the almonds first.
