This place is the spot!! I'm originally from Spartanburg SC and just thinking about the Beacon always takes me back to my childhood. I had the fortunate opportunity to take my wife a kids to the Beacon a few months back. They were trippin'. This place is surely an experience that you will never forget. If your looking for a health inspector rating of 100%, you won't find it at the Beacon. What you will find is a place where all of the employees dump their heart and soul into evey morsel of food that is served. There are literally generations of family members who have worked at the Beacon all of their lives. My opinion, if your traveling through Spartanburg SC on interstate 26, get off on the Reidville road exit and ask for directions. Might have to hit that up. I live in Greer. I have had the Beacon Tea. Good stuff.
Everyone should definitely visit The Beacon at least once. It is
not quite as good as it was under the original owner but you still
get more than you can eat. Try the Bacon Chili Cheeseburger A'Plenty.
