My version of Pepper Steak

I cut up a bunch of jalapenos and Italian long hots and one small tomato. I put some canola oil in a non stick pot and get it hot. I throw in some minced onion, onion powder, garlic powder, (I was too lazy to do the real onions, fresh garlic etc but that would probably be better) and some salt. Then I throw in the peppers. While those are cooking I cut up 2 habaneros. I did seeds and all for this dish. I throw in the habs. I cover it and let them cook, shaking it up and stirring occasionally.

While all this is going on I am searing a nice Aussie steak in the oven. Grilled would be great too.

When the steak is done I put it on the plate and smother it with that other stuff. Oh man it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD! :hell:

I really wish I had a naga to try this with. :mouthonfire:

I really didn't use much oil - that stuff pooled around it is the green pepper juices and what came out of the tomato, it's not a pool of oil.

Nice! A veritable culinary bitch slap for the tongue I reckon. Meat and peppers. Everything a body needs...except beer.

Cheers, TB.

I had the beer as an appetizer.

I'm not a huge rice fan, so I was thinking, set that puppy on a pile of garlic pepper mashed!

Looks great.
