Midnight Snack: Eggs On A Blanket

Thanks to GrumpyBears burrito thread I am now hungry!!! So this is what I'm making, pics to come soon. Two eggs yokes (just the yokes with the embelicle coard removed) lightly pan cooked then placed on a piece of toast with butter and pepper podwer with a side of bacon. Break the eggs so they coat the toast and eat........mmmmmmm.....going to go cook it right now.

strange just the yokes, most people limit the yokes they use & keep the egg whites.

Ya, I'm odd. I don't so much care for the whites so I eliminate them when I can. I also ALWAYS remove the embelical choard every time I cook eggs.

I also remove the imbecile curd.

I guess I'm strange then, cuz I dont care, I'll leave the cord in. I only limit the ammount of yokes used or just buy the healthy eggs in the cartons.

i leave that cord nub in and i'm not squeemish about a drop of blood. feathers though...that's kind bad. i've had farm fresh eggs and they are almost always weird inside and out. it's natural though. it can't hurt ya and tastes just fine.

but i have similar breakfasts pretty often. sometimes i'll swap out toast for pancakes though.

hmmmm. I eat 4 whole eggs a day. amigonnadie!

I've never thought of removing the white!

I can't even figure out how you did this... removing the umbilical cord thing without destroying the yolk... that's gotta be tough.

They make little do-dads that seperate the two. Like this little gross thing. As for getting the cord out, that takes skill and practise and a spoon ;)

I've never heard of anybody removing the umbilical cord from an egg. How in the world did you guys start that?

One of my favorite anytime foods is an egg sandwich. Bacon or sausage depending upon the mood, two eggs soft scrambled so the yolk is still kinda runny, colby jack cheese, my paper lantern, red savina, red caribbean hab powder mix and either pumpernickel rye toast or a toasted English muffin buttered to the very edge.

Excuse me, got to go cook.
