looks good, I like eating phillys.
you should try using specialty breads that have other seasons to them, then do them up like garlic bread, its really good!! then with au jus sauce!
I've shown a couple pics in the last spicy meal made thread.

using the seeds once frozen, I'll have to say no, cuz of the moisture inside of them & once frozen the seeds can be damaged.
it doesnt hurt to try but I'll side with no, unless they were dried to a point were there was not moisture inside the seed.

I do that too but added 6 of the small Thais that look like super chillis. No one in my family likes really hot stuff so I run in and add them to the mushrooms, onions and green peppers in the pan after they've made theirs.

Looks pretty good..but seems a tad over-cooked IMO.
What kind of meat did ya use?

i only use hand cut ribeye for my philly... well i cant remember if it was over cooked, but i do remember that it was Juicy!!! i have done better at home than at work.. i will have to do some here again and take a few pics...

Not much better in the world than a good Philly cheese steak sandwich. Got to be on a hoagie roll or french bread though. Thinly sliced ribeye, show it a picture of the stove, add the cheese and boom! Perfection.

I'd be quite happy with either one of yours fellas, thanks for the inspiration.

Where's the Cheez Whizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz???? ;)

redeyes - heres some homemade phillys I made several months ago.
they were great tasting! (I also used au jus sauce with'em) the 2nd pic was when I treated the bread as garlic bread (seasons & toasted it) this method is the way I'll be making phillys from now on! :drooling:
