Habenero induced Dogs,!

Here's my Habenero spice induced dogs,

Prep work.
Step 1, Go ahead and get 2 jumbo franks out, Make sure they're kosher.

Step 2, Get your meat sheers, and cut the franks in half.

Step 3. Turn the iron skillet on low-medium.

Step 4. As soon as the franks are done cooking go ahead and throw your buns into the micro wave with the paprika and habenero spice already on there,

The actual work.
step 1. Cook the half's in the is until dark brown.

Theres a bakery here that I deal with, I call him and say, "David, were doing Chicago Dogs" Two days later,I get 1000 of the best poppy seed buns you have ever had.

They sell real fast...I usually grab a dozen for me and stash em way for later consumption.

Cool, but do you get the real Sport Peppers there? Or are they replaced with small Jalapenos?

where's the sport peppers n pickle n tomato? oh n don't forget the celery salt.
This is a hot dog, not a salad, By the way the peppers are ground up and laying on the bottom of the dog, On top of the bun.

Yum...seems a tad plain for me though. ;)

I like mine with stone ground mustard, pickled jala's and/or sweet relish, onions and sauerkraut. Usually add some Sambal Olek or Sriracha.

Wasabi mustard or chili 'n cheez with NagaSav is good too. :)

He was just describing a Chicago dog, and then people started talking about them.

Now why is one serving half of a dog? And I don't get he buns in the microwave part, but oh well. :)

I'm on a diet, and it makes the dogs last loner.

To answer your microwave question, It's so the bun is hot and soft, like a steamed bun since I don't have a steamer yet.

Hopefully I never make it to Illinois, Pizzas that look more like a giant pot of sauce, hot dogs with more fiber than meat? NO THANKS! What's next Chigaco Ice cream with relish topping? F THAT!
