Moyboy's pizza thread

Well everyone else is doing it so I thought i'd better stand up and be counted...

Don't know if my pizza's are of a quality that's accepted by the likes of texas blues or Derek but you have to crawl before you walk...

Sorry about the quality of the pics....I had to use my mobile as the ex decided she wanted the camera more than me.....

Ok

This is the pizza stone I have recently purchased. It's about 2/3 of an inch thick and made out of ceramic clay...

This is all the main ingredients. The salarmi is hot spanish, the chicken is thigh, and the meat is thinly sliced prosciutto ($42 a kg). I also added smoked paprika to the salarmi pizza. The chicken was cooked with lots of garlic. The herbs are sweet marjoran, oregeno and baby basil. Olives were sliced and marinated.

Good quality bakers flour was used for the dough base.

The sauce I used is a home made tamato and BBQ sauce with herbs, garlic and roasted capsicums. The top pizza has Oregeno and baby basil on it and the bottom pizza has sweet marjoran and baby basil.

The top pizza was given the salarmi, prosciutto and mushrooms. The bottom pizza was given the chicken, mashrooms and olives. Both pizza's got pepper and salt. The Chicken pizza was given orange hab powder as well, as I don't have any fresh pods cause all my plants are still on holidays at my parents....

The cheese was fresh Australian Bocconcini.....And it was so so good....

I pre cooked the chicken and mushrooms before putting them on the pizzas, and I broke up and dried the cheese before putting on pizzas.

I baked the pizzas in my gas BBQ with some smoking chips......OH MY GOD....It was so good.

The only thing I will change next time is to make the dough base thinner and use more sauce on the base. Other that I was pretty happy...

And I took lots of pics for you folks...:D

Moy you sure broke out of the chute like a fireball! Those pizza's look as good or better than anyone, including myself, has put out! Most excellently done! You did it right too with the stone! I have one in my gas oven and one out on the grill.

Cheers, TB.
