Jerk Chicken

Hello Ladies and Gents
I mainly just lurk this site...

But I wanted to throw a pic of some Chix I made last night...
I see all the delicious food posted on here and thought I should contribute..

Some of the pieces got a little darker than I wanted......
Oh well

Not knowing the children were going to be eating it..I made it pretty hot...:hell:

Hope to be posting more often....

No problem my friend...thank you

2 teaspoons allspice
1 bunch green onion
1 bunch thyme leaves
2 tablespoons fresh ginger
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons veg oil
Fav.Pepper.....
3 tablespoons fresh garlic
1 tablespoon salt
1/4 cup lime juice
1/2 cup orange juice

put all ingredients into a blender give it a zip and pour over chicken...
Let marinade overnight...in a Zip Lock Freezer bag..

Grill it up...
This recipe is just a base to start...really I do it all to eye/taste
Enjoy...You can also use pineapple juice instead of the lime and orange...kinnda give it a Hawaiian feel..

This was just a snack hence the wings and drums...
It's best to use leg thigh quarters for a meal

+1! Will be making this tonight, as I've got a bunch of chicken breasts I was gonna grill up for chicken salad.

Now it's Jerk chicken salad!

Naw, then it'd be Dr Chicken Jerk.

Ya'll better take note. This could be a great topping for the pizza toss off. Not that I need it of course...IGG might.
Muahahahahahahahaha!!!!

Cheers, TB.

This looks great, and for some reason when I look at it I picture some sort of pineapple relish dumped on top of it for a cooling effect. Thanks for inspiring me. I'm doing some super spicy jerk chicken with a pineapple chutney soon.

word..
I've never tried that w/this recipe...
But I do use cola as marinade sometimes..

Put a can of cola in a sauce pan with peppers reduce by half...
than add a pat of butter to finish it...

drizzle the syrup over chix kabobs...sweet heat
