I was actually gonna send you a picture of the garlic, what percentage of brown/yellow foliage am I looking for? I think they are pretty much ready

when about 50+% of the tops are yellow/brown they should be ready to dig up.

yours might be ready, i've got a couple more weeks up here.

I'm probably gonna do less plants next year, so I can give them better attention.

Bahahahahahahahahahahaha

I am pretty sure i am not the only other one here who has told themselves that same thing multiple years in a row  ;)

I did manage to have less variety planted, but ended up with almost just as many plants as last year.

BTW, how's the Garlic bed doing ?

My elephant garlic is just starting to yellow at the tips of the leaves and the other True garlics are a couple weeks behind them.

I've been picking the scapes in waves, so we can use some fresh in meals, as well as dehydrating and using like garlic chives in; dips, soups, and pasta sauces, throughout the winter.

Judging by your reaction, I think you missed your own point. :D

if your telling me that you believe this kid that won't even buy his own seeds is going to go out and buy a dry ice machine for his pepper garden, then we can discuss how my comment contributed to global warming

nah, ur both wrong  :P

what you want to do is buy yourself a dry ice machine...

spread dry ice around the base of the plants but not touching the plant

the bonus benefit is the extra CO2 will help the plants grow  :liar:

Sauces have just been sent out, I'd expect them to arrive in about a week.

Thanks to everyone who contributed.

having received a few Hotsauce :hotsauce: packages from Straya before...

I would not be concerned if they took a week to arrive in US, then another few days to be assigned a route and delivered.

This has happened a couple times for me.

IMO you're gonna love these sauces  :!:

are they sorted by ripeness? or are they actually different types of cherries? they look great and are one of if not my favorite fruit. nice haul.

Thanks

3 different types of pie cherries

the Brightest red ones are Northstar and i would say are the most tart of the 3, they have nearly clear juice and yellow flesh.

The other two are Carmine Jewel, and Romeo or Juliet I forgot.  These have Dark flesh and Dark juice.

This is Great !   Thank them for me , my friend ,

This.

I've raised another AU$40 from a donation for two more bottles of my sauce.  :metal:

This is great !

Think how much additional $ could be raised

locally from people that may not be able to afford final bid price...

Every dollar raised help$ :)

If you can afford to donate; even locally raised money from people that do not yet know about this pepper community, but are willing to pay you for your pepper goods. that is still an excellent contribution  :metal:

Please donate to the cause even if you cannot afford to bid on any auctions yourself.

sharing this community fundraiser on your local message boards / social accounts, would be super helpful too

at the very least it is promoting the pepper community and THP  :D
hopefully others will want to bid on some of these items too ...
