September and my over wintered bush/tree is full of red pods. long time in getting here.

Wondering if they make a good sauce for woozie.
My 72 year old father, his 86 year old sister and her 81 year old husband sitting around the table trying to use their cell phones to call my 61 year old aunt, hilarious and yet terrifying. "...as I am you will be".

Yep - retirees have more time to play with and learn technology than the rest of us. Some of them are way more tech-savvy than the best of us. Just give your relatives time, and they might surprise the heck out of you, at least in this regard.

Over time, you will find that most age stereotypes only apply to those whose health sends them to nursing homes. But their fate is actually not the norm. People who remain physically active and mentally engaged do not fit the stereotypes at...
I pay my taxes suppossedley so the state can operate, when I ask them to do their job they want me to pay them for it ... and with a money order no less so it costs me even more money. I have the feeling it's to dissuade people from asking them to do anything.

who knows, there are some neighborhoods in chicago that do get attention though. downtown gets stupid projects funded like rainbow LED lights put under the L tracks to look pretty. Meanwhile we have to deal with a whole block of street lights being out it seems like at least once a month around here.
my 4 year old - "Daddy what's the kids hot sauce called?" me - "you mean Cholula?" 4yr old - "yeah that one!" LOL, apparently Cholula...your kid stuff!

I know a 6 y.o. that eats hotter stuff than most "adult". Just because they're young, has no bearing on tolerance. That's like saying children need to drink "cooler" hot cocoa. LMAO

Of course it has a bearing on tolerance. Tolerance generally needs development and development takes time. The older you are, the more likely you are to have had that time but kids certainly can have tolerance.
Cholula is mild but pleasant enough, tastes like tabasco and taco spices had a baby but sadly disagrees with me the day after like nothing else.
Daffodils are sprouting, my blueberries are budding this Winter would make an awesome Spring. Im terrified about what real Spring holds.
