Pablo's Posole {white mans Menudo}

here is my Posole recipe

Large pork roast Bone in
2 pint containers of New Mexico Red Chile Puree {HOT}
1 large can of white hominy {commercial size}
tbs oregano crushed
clove /minced garlic
salt to taste
...
cut roast into small pieces {bite size}
place all into a large kettle pot
add the Bone too
add water to cover
add 1 tbs salt {opitional but improves flavor}
add 1/2 chopped onion
add 1 clove minced garlic
add 1 tbs crushed oregano
now slow boil until meat is well cooked and meat falls from bone tender... do not remove water it contains the flavor now... if bone is clean then remove from pot.
at this point add 2 pints of Red Chile Puree
New Mexico only HOT
and continue to slow boil down so the liquid reduces some and thickens slightly...do not add anything to thicken.
open can of Hominy and drain into a strainer,cold water rinse the hominy. let drain well
when the meat and chili have combined well add the hominy into the cook pot with the mixture of meat and chile sauce.
stir well and let slow cook until your ready to eat.

serve in large bowl
with sliced lemons,
dried oregano ,
chopped onions
and saltine crackers
as condiments with this dish...
a chillin beverage and I bet you

Live Plants

Hello all,
I did not see an area specific to live plants so I thought to ask here.
On the Bhut Jolokia, what would you expect to pay for live Bhut Jolokia Seedling ?
,if you could find them.
guaranteed Certified Pure Bhut Jolokia {grown from seed produced indoors,under lights and hand pollenated...}
No chance for any cross pollination.
I will have some ready for the local farmers market in about a month and wanted to get an open opinion for a fair market value
,feel free to chime in and let me know how you feel.

Ive seen them listed from $3.00 us up to 15 euros each
seed is .50cents each and up...from what I have seen from the certified seed producers...
Please do not compare to Ebay,as we all know they have no guarantees to what you will get.

simple fresh jolokia salsa

Hi everyone
I am by no means a cook ,but I do dabble in the kitchen from time to time. any way Im simple and like it that way so here it is short and sweet.

1 red ripe fresh DE seeded Jolokia pod
only use half if you dont like HOT!!!!
1 can Rotel green chili and tomatoes
1 can Rotel cylantro and lime juice
combine in a blender
hit it and quit it
now pour into a bowl and chill
for thicker salsa drain juice from Rotel can before putting it in a blender.
for thinner salsa leave liquid and blend longer...

its Delicious and HOT!!! :hell:

Fatali seeds wanted

hello all
where is a quality source for pure Fatali seeds?
The mature yellow chilis are what i would like to try.
I have heard that red fatalis exist too,but I am more interested in the pure seed from central africa if possible.
I would be willing to trade or have sent at my expense Bhut Jolokia seed from NMSU CPI in exchange for healthy Fatali pure seed.
Please feel free to post here in reply as I am new and have no PM at this time. also,I see no gallery here,but i could post a picture of the jolokia plants and pods now beginning to turn red. hope to harvest 8 red pods over the next month . i have about 60 remaining original seeds but they are a few years old now and germination is low on the older seed.
hope to here from a first hand Fatali grower if possible.
