Cold nights and cool days. Just when you think the season must be over you go outside and find more chillies.

My season should be, but is not over yet.

Cumari Do Para.
Capsicum Chinense.
I would guess the scoville at around 100-200K. Flavor wise, this thing is a Chinense bomb! No sweetness, no fruity, just Chinense! I honestly hated the flavor, but out of a 18" tall by 18" wide plant (in a 16 liter pot) I got well over a thousand thumbnail-sized pods, so it was a no-brainer for this growdown.8d4626839fe72a005dd6803a21b8218b.jpg

Wait. Is it SRP or Primo x Lemon Drop?

Holy crap, you're right. I had it narrowed down to those two... I had actually typed Sugar Rush Peach, but changed my mind before I hit the post button...

I just counted my seeds to be sure, it is definitely the Primo x Lemon Drop.

Alright... I decided on Sugar Rush Peach Primo x Lemon Drop. I tried to find something I have with the shortest growing season, because I might have to move by the end of the year, but I gave up. I ordered far too many seeds to put in enough time to find out which one will work best in this situation. Heck, I'll be happy if I get to try any pods off this grow!

Wherever I end up, I definitely want to have room for my greenhouse and a proper garden. (I'm getting old!)

You guys should do Aji Charapita make you have to work for it, if you want to win, you have to pick every single teeny-tiny pod to make weight.

....but we are not growing peppers to brag about it . Show me what you are doing with your Aji Cito pods.

Pods in a jar , smash them up, add some mash from the fermenting big brother jar .

These will ferment for another 4-6 weeks before I sauce them.Thinking  of a clean fermented sauce without additives or spacers like onions or carrots.

Another weigh in

807 for 1855g

The 2kg mark may be a bit ambitious for me, but it is still getting new pods growing so who knows.
