#1650567 Powelly's 2019/2020 Adelaide Grow

Posted by Powelly on 29 August 2019 - 07:58 PM

Here is the two week progress, bloody brilliant if you ask me. Definitely sold on the idea of grow lights. Having the plants under light for 18h is a massive advantage. Maybe during winter I'll play around with the idea of grow lights + organic which not many people do.

I put these outside for the first time today (Friday), I'll keep monitoring them make sure they do nothing funny then bring them back in and under the lights around 5pm. If everything goes well I'll plant them all out in the garden on Monday. I just wish my home made compost and vermicompost was ready! I dumped a bin bag full of used coffee grounds from work in the compost pile today, hopefully that gets things heating up in there nice and good

Wow, looking good! Too bad about those Thor's Thunderbolt, though. Those are really cool pods.

Excellent!

Good start to the season you have there. I've been a bit lazy , just back from my winter vacation and still trying to decide what to grow.

Seeds in pots 5 days ago and just starting to see my first hooks.

Good luck for you season.

Looking good!

I'm nearing the end of my grow, mainly because we have enough of everything and it's time for the garden to take a rest.

Good luck this season!

Dynagro in a aeroponic/hydroponic setup. It supposedly grows 5 times faster!

I had just about given up on my seeds germinating. Checked on them yesterday and one sprouted........out of 9 seeds planted. Not sure if it is going to make it or not. These seeds were old, so not a big surprise, but i probably wont start over if these fail. Looks like you guys may have dodged a bullet![emoji23]

Cold nights and cool days. Just when you think the season must be over you go outside and find more chillies.

My season should be, but is not over yet.

Cumari Do Para.
Capsicum Chinense.
I would guess the scoville at around 100-200K. Flavor wise, this thing is a Chinense bomb! No sweetness, no fruity, just Chinense! I honestly hated the flavor, but out of a 18" tall by 18" wide plant (in a 16 liter pot) I got well over a thousand thumbnail-sized pods, so it was a no-brainer for this growdown.8d4626839fe72a005dd6803a21b8218b.jpg

Wait. Is it SRP or Primo x Lemon Drop?

Holy crap, you're right. I had it narrowed down to those two... I had actually typed Sugar Rush Peach, but changed my mind before I hit the post button...

I just counted my seeds to be sure, it is definitely the Primo x Lemon Drop.
