Looking great, just don't fry them in that sun. [emoji41]

Yes. The ones under the shade cloth have been out for a while, getting filtered light most of the day on the patio and 3 or 4 hours direct sunlight in the afternoons, so they will be right now.

The others that I potted today are pretty much in full shade from the shed they are next to, with maybe half hour of direct sun right on sunset.

The migration continues.

Just 2 weeks out of winter and it was 34°C today. Not the first day over 30 this season too.

Moved the plants that were on the balcony out into the yard under shade cloth.

And repotted another 20 of the babies.

I was going to leave them up on the balcony, but the wind really picked up and was giving them hell so I put them in a more sheltered spot in the shade.

The grow tent is starting to look a bit empty.

Ok. So I have moved some of mine outdoors.

They seemed to take a bit of a turn. The leaves started turning yellow and all the lower ones fell off.

Not sure what caused it but none of the other plants in the tent went like that. They seem to be bouncing back though.

The weather has been fantastic here, and I have started moving my plants outside. Will be very busy at work for the next 2 weeks, so will move them out when I can and I think within the next 3 weeks they will all be outside.

The rest of the Cito babies will be joining the herd then.

Hi Boss,

I want one of your gift boxes, but I reckon the postage costs to Australia will be too high.

Can I throw in some extra for postage to get it sent instead of the extra year?

That plant is looking good. Bad luck about the weather all over the place like that.

My plants are looking a bit sad at the moment. We are getting some rain every day lately but the temps aren't too bad.

I am going to put half of them outside under shelter to see if that makes them pick up a bit.

Pork loin cutlet with Turkey Slap.

I love the unique fruity flavours of this sauce, but man, the heat on the tongue is brutal.

lucky bugger. we are still a month or more before our frosts will stop. getting regular -2 to -3 nights.

We had temps down to 1° and frost 3 nights in a row last week. But the forecast for the next 10 days  is for 6° to 10° overnights, so it is a bit of a leap of faith.

Thanks Mike. They do seem to know there stuff. If you get the chance check out their you tube channel, hundreds of pepper taste test vids. They all start with "do not try this at home, I am a professional idiot".

Tonight I had the Skobiyan on a steak.

Not a steak with any fancy pants rubs or marinades, just a nice porterhouse pan fried until just pink in the middle. The way a nice steak should be cooked.

20180901_191157.jpg

This stuff is great on the steak, it really brought out the fruity flavours in the sauce.

It is still a very hot sauce that I can feel my lips tongue and the back of my throat still tingling, but the steak kind of tames the heat.

It is like this sauce was made for red meat. My new fav steak sauce.

Good luck with it.

I like the "start with 2 plants" comment. Will see how long that lasts for.
