Yes will try to make cheap, amateur, portable and prety save setup for small propagator with dimensions circa 50cm x 30cm. For example RootIt. No, no PH. Just termo-controller with sensor inside the propagator switches. 220v eu-plug of 50cm x 30cm heating mat with built-in power adjustment. Mechanical timer for eu-plug controls LEDs, mounted on an adjustable stand. For 40 x small working pots (about 70cm x 50cm). Trying to keep it cheap under 40 eur. It depends mostly on the quality of the LE...

I would use Raspberry Pi only if it is necessary to log sensor data and make decisions to execute commands, based on sensor-data changes, or accept and perform network administration. For simple adjustments only (heat/light on/off, based on temp/time), I would rather use sensors + Arduino board. Simple sensor-switches like mine are super cheap and very easy to maintain.

Let me see first my setup working and I may publish the result with pictures and links (if it's worth it). As I said, I have ordered pretty cheap components from stores in China.
