I boil and cube up 8 potatoes, and hardboil and dice up 8 eggs. I dice up 1 red onion. I blend 2 cups of avocado mayo with 1/2 cup of AC vinegar, 3 tablespoons mustard, and 2 aji amarillos. Mix all of these ingredients together in a large bowl, add S&P to taste, and...voila!

Thanks for the recipe!

Thanks everybody!

I have them both on my wishlist for now, I'll probably decide which I'll get when I pick up the stand. The ease of attaching/unattaching them to the stand might sway me to the more expensive option. I'm just glad that either of these options will allow me to grow the seeds for a relatively cheap startup cost.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are both LEDs as they have the same output if you were to add 2 together it would equal one of the Shop Lights.

That being said, which would be better? The ones linked by Juanitos has a hoods to help with reflection and it would be easier to hang on the wrack, it is also 5k instead of 6.5k. It is also 45$ more but would still keep me under 100 and should be enough for two full racks of seeds.

Your food looks amazing! Do you have the recipe for the Tater Salad?

Hey everybody,

This year will be the first year that I am growing a wide variety of peppers and am planning on starting from seeds. I just want to know if this light will work for seedlings until they are transplanted outside after the last frost. I do not intend to use this light for prolonged growing, or trying to harvest peppers indoors but just from Feb - April/May when they are seeds/seedlings.

The light in question:

I will probably be using 3 or 4 per rack on a wired wrack like this:

Thanks!

#1589571 What will you be growing next season?

Posted by GrumpyPepper on 25 October 2018 - 03:51 PM

This is my first year growing a variety of different peppers:

Peach Habanero

Jalapeno

Banana

Thai Chili

Shishito

Anaheim

Jimmy Nordello

Manganji sweet

Corbaci

Pablano

Corno Di Toro Giallo

King of the North

Lipstick

Aribibi Gusano or Caterpillar chilli

Brazilian Starfish

Lemon Drop

Aji Charapita

And whatever else I end up picking up before I start planing seeds. I plan on joining the growdown competition next year too so there will probably be another variety.

Also will be growing some Cucumbers, Tomatoes and Green Onions.

Hey everybody,

2019 will be my first year growing a large variety of peppers.

I have grown a couple vegetables over the years but would like to grow more this year. I'm from the Chicago area so 5a/5b is my growing zone.

Looking forward to learning a lot from the forum and members!
