I don't suppose squirrels would molest them..  A sort of treehouse arrangement would be simpler, but I can't handle heights.  It didn't bother me when I was younger, but now I go dizzy.

Just had another thought.  If I get some sacrificial vinyl siding, just a few pieces, I could take down some of the existing siding, and cut holes in the sacrificial stuff so I can firmly fasten the whole shebang to the back of the house.  Caulk around the penetrations in the sacrificial siding.  If I want to take the thing down I can replace the original siding and it would be like it never was.  This would keep the deck space free as I would no longer have to extend the frame so the way down to the decking.  The only thing is I'd have to have a way to reinterface (<-not a word) the carriage with the tracks once it reached the frame on the way back up..  Hmm..

Maybe that's going too far..  It would be a lot more difficult.

Room looks nice and cozy....though kinda reminds me of a movie setting where the bad guy sits in the dark corner chair ..you see his body but not his face.....Spoooky.

I can relate the the mystery Ebay stuff....I am gonna grow some stuff out along with the good ( hopefully) seeds I bought just to see what happend's. Last year I bought some stuff and it certainly did not grow true so Mystery seed is the best way to describe it for sure.

Hey, thanks!  It's my safe place - nobody brings any shit of any kind into my room or the bad guy in the chair will grow menacing, indeed.

I'd planned to grow out my mysterios, too, before I was gifted seeds.  I could not let such generosity go unrecognized atop my humble box - the newcomers will be given pride of place and the Amazon whatsits will be thanked and discarded.
