Twin Stalks on Chocolate Bhutlah Juveniles

18 May 2018 - 09:05 PM

I was wondering if I should let these conjoined twins grow as is or if I should sacrifice one of them?  If I sacrifice one should I cauterize the other exposed stalk?

Slow growing short plants flowering...what to do?

30 May 2014 - 08:22 PM

I have multiple supers in three gallon pots with Pro Mix as the prime medium.  Plants are lush, giant leaves, never stressed for water here in GA. Several now are sprouting flowers and just have not really "taken off" growth wise.  Should I pinch the flowers? , let them grow? and what can I do to kick start the growth? Am I just impatient here in late May with supers less than 16" tall?

Dehydrating Chiles

09 August 2013 - 09:06 PM

So I have this new Nesco FD-80 and a few ripe pods.  I could use a few tips on the following:

  • Seeding and seed storage
  • Placement on trays (open side down or up?)
  • Drying temps
  • Drying times
  • Post dehydrator storage
  • Other tips for this unit

Thanks all, and MODS if I'm in the wrong topic please lock and move.

harris' 2013 glog*

21 July 2013 - 05:36 PM

Late to the glog party but since a member was so cool to *donate plants to me after two attempts to seed failed.  All are donated plants except for one other seven pot "original".  I'll surely reciprocate in the future when I can.  Plants are in 3 gallon containers and Mao Mart bags. Soil is a purchased type and boosted with mushroom compost and perlite.  Treatments are foliar epsom salts, bone meal.  Insect control is pyrethium.
