I haven't been on here for a long time, but sorry where is the documentation? Has Guinness accepted it now? I couldn't see any press release, just the bit that took me to your ad for the sign up of seeds? Can you please post a link if Im missing it? Thanks!

So Joe can you confirm,is it the HP22B?
Also I would think that if Guinness were going to accept it, it would have to be over 1.4M to take over the TSBT. Whether it is the mean or high heat they wouldn't put a chilli in that is under, people wouldnt get it.
So if it is tested at 1.6 million then it is still possible for the Moruga Scorpion to be entered and take over this "new" one.... I wonder if Dr Bosland is going to enter it. If so then this one wouldn't last very long and the HP22B would then be dethroned......
Not saying any of this to be negative just trying to sort out the facts and be constructive.

oh if that is what he is talking about then I am disappointed. I remember reading about this and thinking it was stupid if it was going to be crowned. So is it the particular chilli he is entering or the method of growing it? Or both? So what chilli is he actually using to enter?

This is very interesting. I'm genuinely intrigued to find out more about it. I don't think people need to have a go at you for it, I think it is nice of you to share what you can on it.
I have a few questions:
1. Is it a hybrid they have created?
2. Is it the average heat or high heat they are entering?
3. Have Guinness mentioned how much longer until they announce it?

I think the naming contest should give away free seeds of this variety with it especially if they use what people have posted.

I don't really have any names but will give it a go:
Puncture Pepper
bit hard without knowing what it looks like though...
Best of luck and I look forward to updates on this.

Yeah he loads the red face runny nose burgers with extract.
He said to me once" I had a dream that I killed someone with my burger it was so hot. I went to jail but when I got out I was still able to make burgers so it is all good".
I would rather see a burger challenge with super hot chillies rather than extracts. you aren't meant to eat extracts like that.
He has some other good ideas though.
