Just returned from the Lakes Chilli Festival in Kendal, Lake District, UK. Had a lot of fun watching other people visit the first aid tent...but now don't feel too good himself...:-(
Just saw a baby Trinidad Scorpion pod on his plant that has a hole right through the middle! Trinidad Doughnut Scorpion! Photos tomorrow (I hope).
Just had a friend of his (Dr. J) eat half a Barrackpore 7-pod...interesting results.
Just picked THE LARGEST Orange Habanero he's ever seen from one of his plants...It look like it ate the two pods that were next to it!
Four and a half hours of drying Chocolate Habaneros in the oven gave me one and a half teaspoons of powder
...still, I made the most of it and used it to make my renowned (well, within circle of friends) Chile Con Carne chilli seasoning! Now Extremely Hot!
Currently drying some Chocolate Habaneros for some Chilli Powder...but mistook 200C for 200F...ooops! I should open a window...
Also true of Aberdonians...
Kind of Sad... One of my immature Datil pods fell of the plant. There were only 3 on the darned thing!

Still living in the same place and working in the same place, this year I'm growing some habs, prarie fire, cherry bombs and topeppo rosso, as well as some basil, chives and rosemary. Just potted a load up yesterday but I've run out of compost... too many plants again! Time to offer some out I think, the only problem is, in my enthusiasm to get the potting up done I didn't label the new pots. D'oh.
Hi Aji, I lost my log in details for THP but I'm back now and growing again, bit of a late start this year but nevermind. Thanks for the chillies you dropped off at work they caused my fiance and her mother some amusement as I popped one of the tiny white habs and started hiccuping
the orange habs went into some awesome spiced lamb burgers.
