Super Hots flowering already???

24 May 2014 - 08:34 PM

Has anyone's Super Hots flowered this early in the growing season? I ordered these from Cross Country Nurseries as I have for years. The ones flowering now are the 7 Pot Douglah and Trinidad Scorpion. I'm in South Carolina, US. I know the weather has been crazy here. We can wear flip flops and boots in the same week, but this is making me think they were mislabeled because they don't normally flower until September here.

Sky High Tomato Prices

15 April 2010 - 05:15 PM

Just wanted to share that because of the cold weather in Florida, there has been much talk of sky high prices of tomatoes this year in the stores. I have already seen it in restaurants where you no longer get tomatoes on your sandwich unless you request it or they have a salad bare, but there are no tomatoes on it. Local farmers market prices are seriously high as well.

If you can, you may want to plant as many tomato plants as you can, if you like them, to avoid the high prices in the stores and make sure you have some!
