Same with Dorsets, both over looked and by far the nicest sauce peppers I've used
    Charles,
My name is Mike Reardon and I have been developing of some pecan based products, but one in particular, the Hot & Spicy I've been tweeking quite some time. Heard about the Jamaican Hot Chocs great flavor and have been pursuing for awhile. Bought seeds from Tomato Supply, not sure if authentic and haven't had luck growing. I would love to get some peppers to test. spici...
FINALLY! Choc habs are setting. And I have a few fefferona pods on a lonely plant (Jackie, you're awesome for trading those with me).
my plants were a wreck after the move. temps are up. they're starting to recover. oh yeah, brain strains are ridiculously tough compared to anything else in my garden.
I got Bhuts at the farmer's market today! Made hot sauce out of them. Holy crap. A toothpick sized sample is a kick to the face.

Yuuuup. I had a lot of duds that seemed to be a bit over-ripened or as if they had once had pepper maggots, but of the ones that were good... well... there was definitely enough heat for the sauce I made.
just got a few rare-ish pods sent from home. next season should definitely be interesting (Sweet extremely fruity peach colored pod is what I'm most excited about - and the two strains of Aji Caballero).
Not a problem. I will have to go back and look to see which ones I bought there because I bought others from a couple different sources. I am THINKING that they are the choc. hab's I got from there.
