1 piece of toast, 37 loads of laundry. Something doesn't seem quite right.

BTW, I have always been a fan of the European kitchen/laundry set up. So practical but hasn't really caught on here in the US. I always wonder about these brand new McMansions we work on where the people have to get the laundry, walk down the hall (past the 1000 sq ft kitchen), and downstairs to the laundry room. It's like they purposely put the laundry room as far away as possible from where it should be. I'm not sure of what your total home square footage is but I know in small homes like in NY, it's pretty popular to have your laundry in the kitchen. So you not only got a new kitchen but laundry as well. That's what we call here in Twisp a "twofer". (Two-fer-one) LMAO

My bathroom was in worse condition than pookies kitchen. Finally got it all redone. Still haven't taken a bath in the $800soaking tub....But it's nice to know I can!

At least your bathroom was functional, you didn't need boots and a flashlight to go to the bathroom!

No criticism here. Truely, the workmanship looks spot on. It was the pic with the packing blanket under the tools that told me the most. Woke tradespeople are few these days it seems. (I like to say WOKE).

One thing... and I NEVER say this.... I love your color choices! I do a lot of gad-awful weirdness that people come up with but that's just my personal choice. You and I have very similar taste it seems. Warm and semi-formal without being gaudy.

Smaller areas are trickier to layout but far more efficient and you don't have to spend a ton of money on nicer materials meaning, you can get nicer stuff because you don't need a lot of it. I really am happy for you and I know you have had to live with it that way for a long time. The teasing probably didn't help and I should apologize if I ever went too far with that. In the end tho, you won!

I caught a lot of shit here tho so I quit posting about it. It's marketed as an indoor smoker but it's basically a pressure cooker/slow cooker/rice cooker that has a smoke feature. It will cook meat under pressure with smoke or it will cold smoke cheese etc. A wide variety of uses that doesn't always require wood chips. I love this thing. I think people were just jealous.

Then they come out with all kinds of epiphanies on what kind of "new and exciting" directions they want their careers to go. After they "borrow" a million dollars from daddy-O, they open a place that seats 9, in Manhattan called something like; "Sense In The Dark" where you are escorted to your table by a hot girl dressed in Black Vinyl and wearing night vision goggles (because it's pitch black for the utmost sensory deprivation) and served a drink called a "Smoking Clam" made with clam shells, Swedish Ice and house made Vodka served with a puff of smoke, for $1,200.
