Hi everyone,
We received a very nice package from THP and some members! Thank you to all who donated and/or signed up for Extreme membership for the cause. More than the money and donations, your thoughts and kindness really touched us. I hope no one ever has to face a serious medical emergency but this THP family will certainly lend support. Thank you! Even though I haven't been around much with the crazy ass year we've had, to know that you still think about us in such high regard means more than words can say. Thank you Fearless Leader for doing your part and including some incredible looking sauces! Truly "heartwarming". LOL!

Love to you all, you crazy heat-eaters! ❤️

I get to take her home today!!!
We have tons of aftercare , checkups and very likely another surgery within the year. She has another small aneurism in the front of her brain but at this point its more dangerous than its worth. She will have a CAT scan in 4 weeks and 6 months to see how it is/if progressing. She is doing very well and excited as hell to be going home! She very likely would have cut a bitch if she was told to stay another day. LOL

I am so thankful for all of your love and support, it was very comforting to read THP in the dark moments. But the sun is shining now and we are soon to be on our road to recovery.

Will be back soon friends (family)!!! ❤

I am so exhausted but I wanted to say she is doing really well. They adjusted her meds and her BP has been around 152/85 most of today. Below 160 anyway, and that's what they want to see. I am thinking I can take her home tomorrow. Like Ann mentioned, I was able to take her across the street to the 'Park Inn' for pizza. We walked alot today and that is helping her mind and stiffness from laying on her back for 9 days.

We are both ready to be home but I am mostly grateful she is still alive and well. That was close but we were granted a miracle.

Thanks again for your friendship and encouragement. It sure helped knowing you all were thinking about us. ❤️

Hello THP family ! Real quick...
UPDATE: Christi had a fairly bad night due to too much stagnation. Her back is killing her so she hasnt been able to sleep and so on and so on. Just talked with the doc and he told us that there is no Vasospasming (vein spasms) so that is A-ok! She does have a secondary Aneurysm which may or may not need to be addressed in the next year. At this point the risk of surgery outweighs the benefit of it so, and I quote, keep it in mind. LOL badumpbump.
The GOOD NEWS is she gets to go upstairs as soon as her room is ready! This means a shower and all the walking she wants, No more tethers! She will have a battery operated monitor to put in her pocket. Yaaaayyyy!

ALSO.... The doc says probably tomorrow she gets to come home!!!
Hallelujah!!!!!
Thank you friends! I thank you all so much! ❌⭕❌⭕

Thank you friends, for your love and support. This whole situation is overwhelming but to see you all reaching out and sharing your kindness is beyond touching. I wish there were bigger words than "Thank You".

CJ has an Angiogram scheduled for 1:30 this afternoon and if all goes well, she might come home this weekend. If it turns out she isn't quite ready, they will keep her another week. We are good with either scenario because given where we live, (3 hours away), I don't want her to leave until she is well out of danger, and obviously, neither do the doctors. She is strong and determined so I know she can handle whatever may come. We have been able to walk the halls of the ICU for the last few days, dragging two machines in tow. Yesterday, on our "road trip" we were able to go outside to the courtyard and sit in the sun for awhile. It was so good for her!

Thank you for the prayers, good juju and fire dances, it means more than you know.

A special thanks to you Ann for stepping in and keeping up with the updates. I am reading but can't always focus enough to type anything that makes sense.

Love you all and again, thanks for your support. ❤️

4 Cups of *Mayonnaise, 3 baby carrots and some crusted bread, and there you have it.

*substitute Mayonnaise with Sour Cream, or Greek Yogurt.

*Or any combination there-in equaling FOUR CUPS OF SOMETHING CREAMY.

Yea i'm always on the fence about pork.

Me too. There's no way to properly cook a pork chop that's only ⅜" thick. IMO
