    They are considering a "repeat prize" as "most unusual" got a hat trick and I am at "deuce-in-a-row". One of the judges asked for the recipe. HA! What recipe. It's what peppers I have on hand and what I feel like eating the day of the contest.Feedback from the eaters informs my next batch.

    *test* distillation. Rube Goldberg in da house, couple stainless dog food bowls, hand full of copper scrunchies, tube of RTV, chinese copper jacketed head, 4 gallon stainless pot----what could go wrong?

    Solvent came out @ 140ish---reflux contraption broke, but managed to stuff some scrunchies up the small column. Re-design in order with scavenged parts.

    Only a fool would drink solvent.
    Spoon test burns with invisible flame.
    Needs to be in the 180+ range for it's intended purpose.
    Maybe next year.
    Hmm. 4 gal. still for my BD. I wonder how many lbs. of peppers required to distill their "essence".
    2 teeth less in my face. Ever have one of those empty holes that hurt to your eyeball?

    Had my wisdom teeth out years ago. I had dry socket for six months swollen up like a squirrel with a mouthful of nuts. (no homo) Funny 'thang was while under the nitrous the surgeon and assistants were laughing their ass off the whole time. Turns out I was singing "Roxanne" all the way through the procedure. Good times.

    I was a terrible patient when I had my wisdoms removed a few years ago. Had all four done at the same time. We left the office with gauze stuffed in my jaw. We headed to the pharmacy to fill my pain meds prescription.... I lit a cigarette and smoked up with a numb face and bloody gauze in my mouth. Got home, took a vicodin, and grabbed a beer and had me a few! lol. Bad patient!

    No dry socket yet.Just a bugger of a long root. Funny. The last wisdom tooth (left by the last dentist because of twisted roots) was one pulled, and not even a twinge there. The other-a broken molar, nerve dead for a couple years, is the hole that reminds me something used to be there. Good thing my mouth is used to pain.
    popped open a jar of pickled moruga's for fathers day bbq. Just the juice was enough to bring hellfire on everything it touched

    Was planning on a couple pieces on a rib, but too overpowering. End up puree'ing and using as an addition to things---in small quantities.Pickled TSMB has too overpowering a flavor, IMHO.

    Gots loads of powders. Wanted to try something different.-----------------wayyyy different pickled fresh. May not be something I do a lot of.
    Peppa's in da dirt and full sunlight today. Been under cover for a week hardening off, and heat lamps to keep from freezing. Time to sink or swim. OW's get dirted tomorrow, as I have a new plan for OW's.

    Done it.
    5 Gallon "Root Spa's" complete indoor hydro grow. Run them through the winter, in dirt next spring, and another 4 get "Spa'd". This way, I get peppers through the winter, and an early harvest in the spring/summer while the babies are growing.

    Salsa contest Saturday. "Inca Fresca" and "Cryin' Mayan" will be my entries. Inca Berry for the fresca, dried smoked reaper powder for the Mayan.

    Oh---what is in the Inca Fresca?
    tomatoes,(red and yellow) tomatillos, green and orange bell peppers, Inca Berries, cilantro, mexican oregano, cumin, lemon and lime, a small amount of my smoked hot pepper salt, cucumber.
    Colorful bugger, and not too hot for "normal people".

    And yellow and white onions---I almost forgot.
    Smoked salmon, onion, a bit of cabbage and carrot shoestrings for texture, and 1 yellow fatali. All mashed together with some mayo and heaped on toasted focaccia. Almost perfect. Off to find some capers.

    Not enough time for my climate.
    Bought a 6' table, 150 4.5" pots, and an 8 tube T5HO to go with my 6 toober. I have space for 75 in my grow spot. Time for some pirate growing methinks. YAR and YO HO HO.
    Making chili for the local cookoff tonight. Basing it on the ICS 2013 winner, but with reapers. MUAHAHAHAHA

    But the only 2 pots empty before the end were "best" and "hottest". Yearly local feed/contest/charity auction and only about a dozen entries this year.

    Nope. Rogue was @ Voodoo Dougnuts with 2 types of beer, Bacon Maple and another I completely forgot, while I was picking up a couple dozen to bring home on the way through Portland. Mmmmmm---Bacon. Had to try it even @ $13 a pint.
    Ham and swiss and Yellow BB Douglah sammich for lunch. Not a good combo. Inca Berry and Bolivian Rainbow sammie tomorrow.
    Lets make politcs a sentence, instead of a career, and I want a "no confidence" checkbox on my ballot.
