So, yesterday I was searching around in the shelves in the basement looking for something to eat for lunch. Then, BINGO, I saw it.........good old SPAM. I decided, time for some SPAM, cheese, and crackers, with a dollop of my hot sauce on each one.

Yep, I ate half the can yesterday and did not die, so I ate the other half today for lunch.

It was good.

Keep in mind the military used to have tons of this stuff in warehouses for years.

Good Deal On A Light Duty Greenhouse

I spotted this deal this morning, they are on closeout so I am not sure of availability. I think this could be used in a basement or garage for a good defined starting or grow area. I do not know if it is heavy duty enough to be in any heavy winds. I just thought it might be a good option for somebody.

Skullbikers 2019 Indoor/Outdoor NOT PEPPERS Glog

Well, time to start the indoor and outdoor vegetable garden glog for 2019. This will include container and Kratky growing. To get the ball rolling (as I wait for Spinach seeds to germinate), I noticed this morning that my Konan Kohlrabi has popped out of the dirt, they were sown 4 days ago. They will go into Kratky as my test Kossak Kohlrabi last year in Kratky grew to 7+ pounds. This is a slightly smaller growing variety to as usual, we will see how it goes!

Most of my ferments for sauce have been going since August and September so I have started to process them for use now. Also trying fermenting my microgreens along with fermented pepper mash for a greenish sauce, that might be very interesting. Anyways, I started with my radish microgreens......

Mixed it about 50% with a mixed pepper mash(Yellow Brazilian Starfish & Orange Pepperoncini), blended it up and put it in a jar to ferment.

I then took what was left of that batch of mash and threw it into the Instant Pot Ace to cook and then blend real smooth. There is not a hint of seed left when I use this blender. I then throw in my final ingredient(s) and buzz it another 30 seconds and then bottle it. ph was 2.8

I will add that I made every one of my pepper ferments with the exact same ratio of ingredients with the only difference being the type of peppers. This way I get the distinct flavor of each pepper. And all are based on a sriracha style of sauce.

SKULLBIKERS 2019 Container and Kratky GLOG

I am starting an indoor grow experiment so I might as well start the new years glog at the same time. Today I threw 3 seeds in the dirt(hoping for 66% germination). I will keep 1 in dirt and 1 in Kratky. These will stay in my grow room under my 8000K T8 shoplights from the beginning through fruit.
