Looking for 3 varieties

20 March 2018 - 06:35 PM

Hello all,
I am looking for 3 different varieties of peppers. The red Brazilian olive, BBG x Naga Peach and 7 pot cinder. I would be willing to trade peppers or maters, SASE or paypal.

Varieties for plant sale ?

05 February 2018 - 03:36 PM

Every year my cousin runs the University of Delaware Botanic Gardens Spring Benefit plant sale. I have for the past years donated seeds for this and it's has become a great success. I typically package about 20 packs of OP superhots a year for the last 6 years. I am coming to the end of my varieties from my superhot collection. Do you fellow growers think that people would be just as interested in other kinds such as, annuum, baccatum, frutescens and pubescens?

Thanks for your input.

Tree of 40 fruits

01 November 2017 - 07:54 PM

I saw a little clip on youtube from National Geographic about this tree and was quite fascinated by this and also impressed. I see the guy who did the grafting is from Syracuse University which is about 5 minutes from my house. I am going to take a little drive and see if it was planted and if so I will probably have to wait till spring time. I guess if I could grow a fruit tree that would be the one I would love to purchase.
Here's the clip I saw on the tree.

One or two plants?

01 November 2017 - 02:43 PM

I was getting ready to pull all plants due to frost when I noticed one plant looked like it had two different color pods on the same plant. One seemed to be lime green while the other is dark green. They both have little flowers with a little purple color inside. I was wondering if there is a way to tell without up rooting the plant or did two plants just grow to closely together?

Meyer lemon ?

23 October 2017 - 03:29 PM

I have a 2 year old Meyer lemon tree in a 2.5 gallon pot. The little tree gives me 2 to 4 lemons a year. I am planning on re-potting her and was wondering what is the best kind of soil to use and how big of a pot to put her in.
