jcw , i hope to have them out in the greenhouse by then crossing fingers it gets about 50 by then . also i'll put the bigger oscilating fan on them this will slow their growth down , keep the lights close . small fans on them 24/7 now . their nodes are very close , thats a good thing , kinda like the weed people do . lol . they have side shoots blasting out now . then i will also top them , which i've had good luck at, thus having stockier bushier plants . thanks for the votes of confidence my fellow chili heads !
might have an answer for you with the mg and gnats , m.g. seems to have pests like that . an older veteran grower on here had taught me and told me to never forget this one thing ! NUKE THE SOIL FIRST ! i got a giant plastic bowl fill it up 90seconds in the microwave , kill eggs bugs etc. had gnats the first year when i had to get m.g. thats all i could find in town at the time , i skipped some nukes and low and behold gnats . battled them all winter . now i never forget to nuke and have no bug issues . hope this helps .
i try to water in the morning at 4:45 before i leave to work , but i have never had a problem watering in the evening , i just watered them now , i don't go heavy tho , my fans run 24/7 keep air flow good . also i water/feed with ecovie pure organic won't burn them has all nutrients they need .
5:a.m. on to 9:00 p.m. off for mine well 15 minutes earlier so i can water if needed before i head to work , or move lights up . i would acclimate them to standard light hours . thats what they'll have sooner or later .
