seeds-germination Peach Pepper X

I got 50 I believe peach Pepper X seeds -has anyone grown them? Any tips I should try? I also got 100 chocolate Caroline Reaper seeds. I know it is late to grow but living in an apartment so they wont be transplanted to the outside. Curious about these.

Ed Currie, the creator of Pepper X, has never released the seeds for it. He is keeping a very close hold on his creation. In fact, if you go to his website, there is a big rotating banner at the top that says "Pepper X seeds and plants are a patented variety, and it is not available for purchase or use by the general public" So the seeds for it are simply not available. Ever wonder why reputable seed vendors who have hundreds of varieties of pepper seeds available for sale on their site, don't have seeds for the current Guinness record holder? It is because the real seeds are unobtainable until Ed Currie releases them. Which it doesn't appear that he intends to do. So the people on sites like Ebay who are selling "Pepper X" seeds are not selling legit Pepper X seeds. They just want to take people's money. I am sorry that you got scammed. Stick to reputable seed vendors.

Superhot pepper seeds germinate and grow the same way as other pepper seeds. They may take a little longer to germinate in some cases, but the process is the same. And if you are planning to germinate peppers indoors and grow them to maturity under artificial lights, then it is really never too late to start seeds, since you can grow and harvest peppers year round under such conditions. Just expect to make a significant initial investment in LED lights, since it is really important to provide enough light if you are trying to get them to fruit indoors without relying on the sun.

The good news is, you didn't have to learn the hard way. You came to the right place. We'll get you going in the right direction. I'd also consider the reaper seeds suspect. Maybe someone here can get something to you you can grow indoors.
Reaper seeds are from a different vendor.

That would be the "holy grail" a bloody good hot bell pepper---Mic

Hey Ed ,can you do some magic ?

I simply didn't know where to but-looking at some threads I know now.

Sorry to read about your eBay experience, HP. Some people will do anything for a buck.🤬

Anyway, when people ask about where to buy seeds, I'll point them to this post. It's not a list of every seed peddler known to man, but all of them are believed to be reputable.

Seed Vendor List

There's one vendor not on the list (I can't edit the old post), and that's Texas Hot Peppers. I've dealt with Garth for over 15 years. He started doing business on eBay, under a different name, before he grew into THP, lol.

Good luck and enjoy your growing adventures.
