I dont personally use unfiltered tap water. Too much chlorine; kills beneficial bacteria in the soil. If your using chemical ferts, then that might not matter. I put in a whole house water filter, but you can buy a cheaper line filter too. Its the most cost effective way.

Just thought I'd mention, P. Dreadie name was more than likely Aaron and not Erin. Erin is the female version of Aaron.

I put boric acid baits right by them, and they are usually gone in a few days. I also use cinnamon which works about 50 percent of the time.

Does anyone have seeds of any hybrids of Bhuts or Nagas that have been crossed with Chiletepin or other wild type peppers? If so, can I purchase some seeds? I can also trade.

I can't say I have grown them all, but I do notice a distinctive difference between the regular Chocolate habanero, and Jamaican hot chocolate habanero. The JHC has a unique smoky flavor that the regular one lacks. The chocolate hab can be a bit smoky but not as strong or as consistent as the...
