    Goat's weed hybrids

I have been fondling around with the idea of creating a hybrid with melanistic and pubescent traits. I am going to use the Goat’s Weed pepper as the pubescent parent and various black foliaged peppers as melanistic parents, so far I have come up with eight different crosses that I will attempt...

    Brix's " Semi Wild" 2017

Sorry for the late reply, still learning how to use this forum... No polytunnels, I am going to cut down on the quantity of plants. I am currently thinking 1-2 of the majority of varieties, with exceptions being the most resilient plants, Tepins, Pequins and Pubescents, these plants will hit...

    Brix's " Semi Wild" 2017

All right, time for a little update. So far I have gotten 67 sprouts from 21 different varieties. I have also added a couple of new varieties, Aji Largo, Black Pearl, CAP 1546, CAP 1141, Cumari Pollux, Locoto, McMahons Texas Bird, Turbo Pube. I have decided to name (Apache x Pimenta Da Neyde...

    vendor fataliiseeds.net

Honestly, I am not to big a fan of Fataliiseeds... this is firstly due to the high prices, and secondly because the seeds I received were cracked and smashed to powder   The germination rate of the surviving seeds was good, though (90%).

    Brix's " Semi Wild" 2017

This will be my first ever glog and I personally think it is going to be fairly interesting. As it is relatively difficult growing peppers in Denmark, I have attempted to find varieties that should be suitable for the cold, short-summered north. Undoubtedly this season will be filled with...

    Pubescens in Texas

Can't say that I'm from Texas... but I have been growing C. Pubescens with great success. As far as temperature goes I've found that they really like the average Danish summer temperature of 16.1°C = 61 degrees Fahrenheit, they aren't happy for the occasional super heat of 30-33°C = 86ish...

FL pepper plants wilting and losing all leaves

If we are talking 30 Fahrenheit, then your plants might be dead... usually, peppers tend to die as temperatures hit the freezing point, with the exception of a few such as Chiletepin and various Pubescens.

    Numex Bailey or heirloom Pequin?

I will be growing both this season and soon as I have finished my midterm exams in December, I will making a Glog. I am unfortunately going to have to pass on the seed offer, as I am going to be growing five different variants of the annuum var. glabriusculum family (CAP 872, Chile Tepin, Goats...

    Numex Bailey or heirloom Pequin?

So I have been planning to grow Pequin peppers next season. I have bought an heirloom Pequin variety from my usual seed vendor, thinking that would be perfect. But when I talked with my pal about Pequin peppers, he insisted that I got some seeds of his Numex variety instead (it is apparently...
